Terms of Service

1. Foreword

The use of BrazilTradeNet will be subject to the following Terms of Service. Usage of any service offered by BrazilTradeNet should indicate that the user read and agreed with the most recent version of the Terms of Service, automatically linking the user to the rules contained herein..


2. Service description

Through access to the website www.braziltradenet.gov.br, or www.braziltradenet.com, BrazilTradeNet will offer its users the largest import companies data base available in Brazil; Brazilian export offers; demand for the import of Brazilian products; market briefs; and news about events in Brazil and abroad; not to mention nummerous publications, thematic presentation transcripts and economic indicators, among other products and services.


3. User’s obligations

Users are responsible for providing the means of access to the services, including hardware and software necessary to allow internet conection. Other user’s OBLIGATIONS include: (a) not using the service to illegal ends; (b) bearing all risks that might be associated with the usage of services, which are offered at no cost; (c) register in the website in order to obtain access to FREE service, providing true, accurate and current informations, as prompted by the service’s registration form, as well as maintaining and promptly updating the registration data to keep it true, accurate and current, whenever these data is altered.


4. User account, password and security

The user will register a password and an e-mail address to identify his account designation during the Service's registration process. The user is fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and for all activities that occur under your password or account. The user agrees to: (a) immediately notify BrazilTradeNet of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security; and (b) ensure that he exits from his account at the end of each session. BrazilTradeNet will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from user’s failure to comply with this clause.


5. Privacy policy

BrazilTradeNet follows an express policy with regard to on-line privacy. Registration data and some other information about the user are subject to the treatment referred to in this privacy policy. For more information, see the document “Privacy Policy”. This document is a part of the “Terms of Service” and should be carefully read by all users before acceptance and use of the service.


6. No resale of service

The user is not allowed to sell, trade, resell or exploit for commercial or non commercial purposes, any portion of the services offered by BrazilTradeNet.


7. Warranties

The user is solely responsible for use of the service. BrazilTradeNet makes no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. BrazilTradeNet may provide links to other web sites or resources on the Internet. Since BrazilTradeNet has no control over such web sites or external resources, the user aknowledges and agrees that BrazilTradeNet is not responsible for their availability and does not endorse and is not responsible for any content, advertising, products, services or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.


8. Termination

The user may terminate his password, account or use of the service at any time. If BrazilTradeNet considers it has reasons to remove a user, this should be done simply with a notice to the user. BrazilTradeNet shall not be liable to the user for any termination of his account por access to the service.


9. Use of registration data

The user expressly authorizes BrazilTradeNet to share his registration data in order to allow contacts with other users of BrazilTradeNet, subject to the rules of its Privacy Policy.


10. Notices and modifications to the Terms of Service

BrazilTradeNet reserves the right to at any time to modify the Terms of Service. If there is any change in the Terms of Service, the user will be noticed. On accessing the service after receiving notice of modifications, the user will be accepting the modifications of the Terms of Service.
